You find that your dog is doing okay with walking nicely in class. But then out in a real life environment you get the lunging, pulling, not paying attention, etc.
You may start to dread going on walks, it's a chore, & the pulling hurts your arm. Plus you might be spending time dog walking all by yourself. Well, no more..........................................

Come join us in dog walking games & do Leash Training the FUN way in the real world.
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
Four (1 hour) sessions of organized training & games to learn the FUNdations that will teach your dog to:
- be introduced to safe leash handling
- learn with positive rewards (Eg. food, praise, touch)
- learn basic manners (Eg. sit, hand touch)
- stay near you
- focus on you with distractions
- walk on a leash

Appropriate for dogs 9 months & older. Dogs must be people & dog friendly. No dogs in heat. Bring a hungry dog, water for you & your dog, lots of food treats (small pieces), 4-6 ft. leash,(no retractable leads),a flat smooth collar (no choke, prong or e-collars).

Pre-requisite - Urban Walks are for members that are presently enrolled in or have taken classes in the past with Absolutely Fun Dog Training. Weekly Urban Walk location will be posted in advance for members.
Bring some money for coffee & food if you want to hang out afterwards.

This is a fun hour of enrichment activities held outdoors. The activities help your dog bond with you, develop confidence, learn to focus, body awareness, & fitness. It's a combo of training, games, a mental & physical fitness circuit all in one.
Each Fun Fit Dog session will involve a lesson on safe procedures, an obstacle course station type set up with a variety of things for you & your dog to do. The activities engage your dog mentally & physically. You'll have fun & head home with a happy, tired pup.

Note-
Pre-requisite is a healthy dog with no physical issues or injury. If in doubt check with your veterinarian. This is an on leash class with all dogs on leash for safety & to ensure that all dogs remain under control during the activities. There is no off leash play during the Fit Dog Circuit session.
