This session does not require your dog as no training will take place. It is an opportunity for me to understand what help you need, to answer any questions, & to discuss how things work. We can also discuss when it would be convenient to hold sessions in your home. If this interests you, a booking can be made for further sessions.
I will put together a plan specifically catered to you & your dog's needs based on the initial consultation information.
I will take you step by step through the activities & games to play with your dog.
My aim is to demonstrate the training & games so that you can easily do them for a few minutes every day. I will also leave you with written instructions & or printed materials/ booklets as is appropriate. I will follow up & check in with you. Please remember that every dog is unique, & will make progress at their own rate, & level.

Individualize your training with your dog. This is for owners who would like extra support in a private one on one session. It takes place in the comfort of your home or other dog friendly location & caters to the needs of your dog.
The training may also include taking some sessions outside of your residence. It may involve car rides, neighborhood walk, dog park, or visiting other pet friendly venues. Of course this depends on your pet's needs. Prices for sessions will vary depending on the type of training needed.
After your initial consultation, having decided your needs, we progress into your individual training program. This can be a set of prebooked sessions or a training package specific to you & your dog,.
It could be manners, coming when called, games to play with your dog to build confidence, being calm when out & about, Brain games & enrichment activities.
Also support with preparing for Program testing & exams for CGN (Canine Good Neighbor), Pet Therapy Dog Program or Education Assistance Dogs.

This is appropriate for dogs that are people & dog friendly. It is best to contact a Certified Behaviour Consultant in cases of Dogs that have aggression issues, bite &/or growl.

Were you able to drive a car right away? Well, maybe, ...........but realistically it wouldn't have been very safe. You of course had to learn some skills & practice to be able to drive. Here are some skills we will build with you & your dog before driving on the real full size equipment.
1) Strengthen the relationship - you & your dog'

4 (1 hr.) sessions
Limited to 2 dogs max. plus 1 handler/dog. Class appropriate for dogs 8 mos. & older having a basic 'sit'/ 'down' behaviour.

Note re Body awareness & Fitness
I know your dog runs & jumps all day long. But dogs do things that they normally wouldn't do with their bodies during agility (sudden starts & stops, tight turns, balancing, running, & jumping on things that move, etc.).
So to prevent injuries, it's important to get your dog ready physically & mentally for the Sport. I do body awareness & fitness activities with my own dogs independently from agility training.
Overall, fitness will help to improve your dog's quality of life as he ages & increase his life span. I include body awareness, fitness & conditioning activities in my agility classes.

We will start from where you & your dog are at. Then continue to progress skills through games & activities involving:

1) More advanced activities with Crate/mat/boundary games.
2) Plank/contact work, targeting.
3) Handling skills, Recalling, sending, wrapping objects.
4) Introduce - the tunnel, pause table , wing jump, cone work.
Continuing Agility Classes
I am also available to do Agility Classes/sessions at the Starters, Advanced & Masters levels.
Agility Classes & Private lessons booked via email or by phone. Small group classes ( 2 max.) will run based on interest. Class is outdoors, on grass, & in a fenced yard April til end of October. Then indoors at a rented facility during the colder months.
